Our Expertise

My name is Tim, I am a DBS checked clear CSCS registered NVQ Level 2 qualified Joiner/Carpenter with 25 yrs experience. I was trained using the traditional methods by two highly skilled craftsman; a cabinet maker and a boat builder. I have a vast and varied skill set covering most trades having worked both in the UK and abroad on both residential and large scale commercial properties.

I own a flooring shop in Exeter where we supply and fit real wood, engineered, luxury vinyl click, LVT, laminate flooring and all accessories.

Summary:

NVQ Level 1, 2 Carpentry & Joinery.

My training was as an architectural joiner in a joinery workshop.

My expertise is in second fix 'finishing' carpentry.

26 years experience covering most trades both in residential

properties and on site.

Mapei Subfloor prep for resilient products trained.

5 years on 24/hr call out as a locksmith.

Our Process

At Palace Gate Building Services Limited, we believe in transparency and communication. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their vision is brought to life. We provide regular updates throughout the project and are always available to answer any questions.

Usually we would arrange an appointment with a new client either at their location or at our shop based in Exeter to discuss the work required and then we always follow up with a full written quotation by email. We include along with our quotation a copy of our terms of business, proof of professional qualifications, DBS check along with proof of our insurance.

We offer private appointments at our shop in Exeter where you can see the quality of our carpentry and flooring work and where you can see a vast range of the luxury vinyl click, LVT, Engineered, real wood and laminate flooring that we can supply.

Flooring: From our boutique flooring shop based in Whipton Village Exeter, we supply and fit high quality luxury vinyl click, engineered and laminate flooring. Our shop is a 'walk in portfolio' of the standard of the work we produce and we invite potential clients to visit by private pre arranged appointment/ consultation.

Carpentry Services: Internal and External Doors, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bespoke Furniture, Built in Wardrobes, Bespoke Cabinet Making, Gates, Locks, Decking, Windows, Sash Window Repairs, Stairs, Bannisters, Skirtings and Architraves, Alterations, Restorations. We have particular experience working in listed buildings.

Tiling: Floor Tiles, Wall Tiles, Repairs and Renewals

Locksmith: All types of lock fitted, eased, adjusted and replaced.

Handyman Services: Picture Hanging, TV Hanging, Blinds, Flat Pack Furniture, General Repairs
